    The principle of Housescan, Garry Brown formally served in both the NZ Army & NZ Police. With regards to Building House Home Inspections Garry is a Certified Thermographer having trained at the Infrared Training Centre in Auckland. The training received is Internationally recognised and both examined and certified by a leading Training Centre in Stockholm, Sweden.

    Over the past 30 years he has worked in the Insurance/Building Investigation Industry that has provided considerable experience in the fields of : Building reinstatement, Clerk of Works over building repairs, Building structural examinations, the cause of Building failures, and in more recent years leaky homes. He utilises a Trotech IC080 Infrared Camera and a Trotech T650 Moisture Indicator for the purpose of home examinations.

    Comprehensive inspection and reporting. The inspection includes a thorough structural examination of the home and buildings that will identify any maintenance, repair issues or defects that may require attention. The examination includes a perusal of the local council property file to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are in order. 

    Non-invasive Scans

    Ideal Non Invasive Process. The process is ideal for Pre Purchase Inspections, Suspected Leaky building and displays an infrared photo of surface construction shapes and temperatures behind walls, which are not obvious to the naked eye.
